Veronica

Hello, everyone! I'm Veronica Fernandez, originally from Florida but now happily settled in Winston Salem, North Carolina. My journey has been quite dynamic, starting with earning my Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Queens University of Charlotte back in 2018.

Growing up, I discovered my adventurous spirit early on, achieving a black belt in taekwondo by the age of 14. My career path has been just as diverse, ranging from roles in cleaning and factory work to the fast-food industry. However, a pivotal moment came when I decided to pursue a career in healthcare.

Becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) opened doors for me at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, where I dedicated ten months to the Neuro/Stroke Unit. But as life tends to do, it presented new opportunities and challenges.

In 2024, I found myself at a crossroads, balancing my side business with my career aspirations. Determined to refine my focus, I made the difficult decision to step away from the hospital environment. I now devote my time by working at a hospice facility a few times a week while pursuing my passions.

Beyond healthcare, I harbor a deep love for stationery and entrepreneurship, inspired by my childhood fascination with office supplies. I've always been drawn to the art of expression through paper, which led me to establish my own business specializing in papergoods and local connections!

Through "Pretty Paper," I aim to offer not just products, but experiences. Crafting personalized stationery that reflects your unique style and sentiments brings me immense joy. Whether it's creating invitations for your special occasions or curating custom designs for your personal use, I pour my heart into every detail.

By choosing "Pretty Paper," you're not just supporting a business; you're joining me on a journey fueled by passion and dedication. Together, let's elevate the art of communication and celebrate life's moments in style. Thank you for considering "Pretty Paper" as your partner.
